I'm not saying that this goes for everyone. I feel like we're underrated, we're "to young", but what adults don't realize, is that a lot of us are more mature the we're thought to be. I feel like nobody knows me, and I'm sure other kids/teens feel the same way. This book does have blood and war, but it also shows us a glimpse of the real world. I have a friend who's 10 years old, and he is one of the most understanding and mature kids I've ever met, even more so than many teens. The reason I have the age as 11 is because at this age I think that kids should be able to understand. The youngest that I think should read this book is probably 8 or 9. So you heard that this is a violent book, and I'm not going to disagree. Which Side of History?
